Problems (It’s okay to cry)

Sometimes, bad things suddenly happen to us,

It makes us lonely and sometimes even lose trust.

But that is wrong, we all must do what we must,

We should parry our opponents’ every thrust.

Problems are challenges, battles to be won,

We should never give up; face it like a lion!

During the times when we can’t stand on our own,

God is there to help us, we’re never alone.

Troubles come in different sorts and sizes;

Never worry, we won’t get them in excess.

His pains could be akin to riding buses,

And hers can be germane with her eyeglasses.

Whatever difficulties you are having,

Always remember, it could be a blessing,

For challenges make us strong and enduring;

Learns us that triumph is ours for the taking!

Now, you might reckon, “So it’s not such a lot,

So then, why am I feeling what I must not?”

Just bear this in your mind, despite what they got,

Even heroes hurt and bleed when they get cut.

You

You gave me a reason to hope again

And rid me of my pain and my burden

You have always put a smile on my face

And have put my heart on a merry chase

I was a coward, never a fighter

But you made me brave and a withstander

I was a buffoon, an uncouth person

But you changed me and taught me life’s lesson

You taught me to accept the way I am

And have halted me in being so lame

You were a beacon in my life that’s dark

And learnt my heart with words that I do hark

How can I forget my inspiration?

The one that taught my heart some compassion

How can I not learn how to love you so?

The one that caused me to stop feeling woe

Oh, how I miss you, my beloved one

When will I see you again, sweet someone?

Oh, how I wish you were here with me now

When will I stop imagining, somehow?

My Miss, My Girl

I have seen girls from all across Japan

I’ve came across women from all Taiwan

None of them were as gentle as this one

Why, she’s almost like that superwoman!

This darling of mine, I truly respect

She always does more than what I expect

Good things are what she taught me to prospect

And helped me change my life’s every aspect

In her, I learned how to dream of nice things

And learned to be thankful for my blessings

She made me feel like flying without wings

I’m always eager for the joy she brings

Oh, my sweetheart, I wonder where you are

Fate has made us separated so far

From halfway across the globe, my soul cries

Your love is really what my heart desires

Over the rainbows and all seven seas

Across the mountains and the highest peaks

Even after a hundred thousand weeks

“I’ll be here waiting,” is what my heart speaks

I know that someday, we’ll be together

And that we’ll be free to love each other

How long it takes does not really matter

I’ll wait for that day, always, forever

House Party

Whenever there are friends, there’s always fun

Anything goes, our problems come undone

We share some pizza ‘till morning has come

By the time we’re finished, our sorrow’s gone

Our chance to do this doesn’t come often

We hope events like this always happen

Things like this just keeps our friendship open

We’ll be together till boys become men

Come on over to my humble abode

Let’s call on our friends on my telephone

Bring some veggies, let’s cook it on our own

Let’s have a house party, right at my home!

MMC

Marvel at the MMC everyday

With their gallant phalanx that cannot sway

And their glorious voice that resounds all day

Their faith burneth like flame, what can one say?

They sing euphorically songs of faith

They have been outstanding, worthy of praise

Heroes like them never fail to amaze

Even the mightiest of all our race

To be able to sing so superbly

Takes a great deal of time and energy

Frequent practice is a necessity

For all I know, they have tenacity

Though they’re average in outside beauty

They’re stunning in the inside, actually

Equipped with, pureness and humility,

They can face even the worst enemy

Let us learn thru their perfect example

We must all be hardworking and humble

With faith, we can do the incredible

Let’s keep on going and never stumble

Fear not whatever the foeman might rant

It doesn’t matter if they call us runt

Material things are not so important

Let us learn it from the genuine valiant

A Basketball

Go on, come on, go dribble the basketball

Let’s prove to the world that we’re unbeatable

When we’re in the hard court, we’re invincible

We’ve got power to play that’s unbelievable

Our skill doesn’t come from humongous stature

Neither from muscles that are so powerful

It simply comes from hearts that are very pure

Always ready for teamwork, that is for sure

We don’t have flashy slamdunks or alley-oops

And we don’t possess those extremely good looks

But one thing’s for sure, we can play well in hoops

Let’s show them what we’ve got, time to wear our shoes!

Heroes’ Comeback

Everyone’s eager to see them once more

Townsfolk long to hear their jubilant roar

They’ve gone to battle to settle the score

And to stop the foe’s destructive terror

A few years passed and soon they’re back to town

Replacing with a smile the people’s frown

They’ve made the enemy look like a clown

They wear righteousness on their heads like crown

None has the power to beat them so far

They’ve returned triumphant from the great war

And though their bodies got many a scar

Their faith had suffered not the slightest mar

Nightfall

The time of slumber has come

Go to your beds everyone

It’s been a rough day for some

For others, it was quite fun

Go dream of beautiful things

Great fountains and awesome springs

Oh, what joy fantasy brings!

Stay in bed till the clock rings

Tomorrow’s a new journey

A fresh start for you and me

But tonight, we’ll go to sleep

‘Coz we need some rest, you see!

East Place Story

Bikes tumble and rollerblades go flying

This is the place where the extreme is king

People here long for stuff that’s addicting

Expect daily to see crime and fighting

Come on over to the great East Place Street

Watch the colors and give your eyes a treat

See each skater perform an awesome feat

Find out how many gangsters you can meet

Respect and discipline is devoid here

Outsiders here usually die of fear

The tension will make your eyes shed a tear

People here don’t drink water, only beer

Hackers, mobsters and thieves here go roaming

Heck, this is the place where I am living

Sometimes I wonder why I’m still staying

Maybe ‘coz this place has hopes of changing

This is it, this is the East Place Story

Come on here and do not ever worry

As long as you’re good you won’t be sorry

Let’s make a difference here, let’s hurry

At the end of a storm, the sun will rise

We could turn this place into something nice

Let’s end all the vices and all the lies

I was born in this place, the town of cries

“Why are you telling this?”, you might ask me

Well, I want you to help my ancestry

Now, you might want to know more about me

I could tell you, but that’s another story

All I Have is You

One day, I woke up with a broken heart,

My head is aching, and I can think not.

I’m late for work again, my boss is mad,

I’m really hungry, and I’m very sad.

I lost the girl that I’ve been dreaming of,

She’s with a new guy now, makes me cry oft.

But then I realized, all is not lost,

I still have you, oh, what delight you caused!

You were my friend since I was a small kid,

Always making me glad is what you did.

You never tried to turn your back on me,

And cried with me during my agony.

Oh, I’m so sorry about my defects,

I betrayed you before, now, I confess.

I hope you can forgive me, for my sake.

You were always a friend, that’s no mistake.
